About Us
- H.K.U.D. "LADO" Geelong, Australia
- Established in 1972, the Croatian Cultural Artistic Association “LADO” Geelong has played an integral role in showcasing and promoting the rich and proud Croatian culture and heritage through music, song and dance. Our performances are recognised as being at the highest standard maintained by continual training overseen by Mr Tihomir Zlatic, composer and professional musician with the Croatian Radio Television (HRT) Orchestra in Zagreb. Today, “LADO” has over 100 active dancers and 30 musicians. We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2012, after a monumental year in 2011 with our first CD being recorded in Zagreb on our tour of Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Croatian community in Subotica.
